Default New Service?

The Treasure Hunter and Seeker of Wisdom titles now confer a benefit to players who earn them. For each rank of either title earned, the chance of an item not being destroyed when salvaging a magical upgrade component is increased by 3 percent from a base of 50 percent.

So now Wisdom seekers and Chest runners will be offering a salvaging service for ppl? - Wisdom seekers and Chest runners ho can be trusted that is (weapon upgreads, not runes)

as of right now, if you havent seen the other post, theres a big problem with the salvaging of runes from armor. you can salvage the rune then sell the already salvaged armor to another person, who in turn will get crap materials....dont get scammed

I doubt many people would be daft enough to use a salvage service like that, most would risk the extra small percentage of losing the weapon by salvaging it themselves rather than the larger risk of handing it to the salvager (along with a fee) probably to have them run away with it or hand you 3 iron ingots and tell you it failed (while they keep the mods/weapon for themselves).

well, doing it with a random person would be extremely risky... trusted guildmates, on the other hand, can be a valuable help.

On the other hand, the only reason why you'd want to desperately keep a weapon, anyway, is when you have two very good upgrades in the same weapon. If only one is good, you can always choose to salvage that one first, and not be losing much if the other gets destroyed along with the weapon.
